Delete your account

Delete in the BoatCast app (fastest)

1. Open BoatCast on web or mobile and sign in.
2. Open Account.
3. Tap or click Delete account and confirm.

Deletion starts immediately for BoatCast sign-in access. Stripe is set to cancel at period end. App Store / Google Play trials and subscriptions are not canceled by BoatCast — they continue until the store period ends. Turn off renewal in Apple subscription settings, Google Play, or Manage billing if you want billing to stop after that. Your BoatCast profile and favorites are kept for a 90-day grace period (sign in again to restore), then permanently purged.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account:

Include the email address on the BoatCast account. We will confirm when deletion is scheduled or completed.

What we delete

• Account profile (email, name, password hash, Apple/Google sign-in identifiers, subscription status)
• Saved favorite locations and Location Weather Monitoring sessions (including push tokens)
• Password-reset tokens and session access

Payment card details are held by Stripe or the app stores (Apple / Google), not in BoatCast. Favorites saved on a phone before you ever signed in stay on that device until you clear app data or uninstall. Deleting your BoatCast account does not immediately cancel App Store / Google Play / Stripe trials or subscriptions — access continues until the current period ends. Turn off renewal in App Store, Google Play, or Manage billing if you want billing to stop after that. Weather caches are not personal profiles and expire on their own. See the Privacy Policy.
