Delete your account

You can delete your BoatCast account and the personal data we store with it. Use this page for app-store privacy reviews, or follow the in-app steps below.
Delete in the BoatCast app (fastest)
- Open BoatCast on web or mobile and sign in.
- Open Account.
- Tap or click Delete account and confirm.
Deletion starts immediately for sign-in access and cancels any open Stripe Pro subscription. Your BoatCast profile and favorites are kept for a 90-day grace period (sign in again to restore), then permanently purged.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot sign in, email us from the address on your account:

Include the email address on the BoatCast account. We will confirm when deletion is scheduled or completed.
What we delete
- Account profile (email, name, password hash, subscription status)
- Saved favorite locations
- Password-reset tokens and session access
Payment card details are held by Stripe or the app stores (Apple / Google), not in BoatCast. Store subscriptions must be canceled in App Store or Google Play settings if you subscribed there. Weather caches are not personal profiles and expire on their own. See the Privacy Policy.
