Terms of Service

By using BoatCast (the website, mobile app, and related services), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

• BoatCast provides marine, lake, and weather information for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• You are responsible for how you use the information. Conditions on the water can change quickly; always use your own judgment and official sources when planning trips.
• The website and apps share a free forecast (today's outlook and the next few hours) without an account. BoatCast Pro unlocks the rest of the 3-day forecast, favorites, boat-size ratings, and Location Weather Monitoring. A BoatCast account is optional for mobile In-App Purchase (App Store / Google Play). Prefer signing in first with Apple, Google, or email — that creates or opens your BoatCast account — then subscribe with Stripe on the website, Apple on iPhone, or Google Play on Android. Use the same sign-in button on every device to sync Pro, favorites, and monitoring. Hide My Email still uses Sign in with Apple — we store the private relay address and match your Apple ID; you should not type the relay address. Sign in with Apple or Google in BoatCast is your BoatCast account; registering a different email later creates a different user. You must provide accurate account information, keep any password secure, and not share access in a way that violates these terms or applicable law. You must be at least 13 years old (or the age required in your jurisdiction) to use the service or create an account. You may delete your account in the app; doing so removes your BoatCast data after a 90-day grace period and sets any open Stripe Pro subscription for that account to cancel at period end (see Subscriptions). App Store / Play subscriptions are not canceled by deleting the BoatCast account — manage renewal in store settings.
• We may update, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
• BoatCast and its data providers are not liable for decisions, injuries, losses, or damages arising from use of (or inability to use) the service, to the fullest extent allowed by law.
